ABBA is a Swedish pop group that was formed in 1972 in Stockholm. The band members included Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson, and Anni-Frid Lyngstad. Their name was originally Björn & Benny and Agnetha & Anni-Frid. The band created the name we know today, ABBA, in 1973. On April 6, 1974, the group had their most famous moment in the Eurovision Song Contest with their song 'Waterloo.' Soon after, the song was in the Number One charts all over Europe and in the top ten in America. Then, some months later, they got another major worldwide hit with their song 'SOS' from their album named ABBA. And soon after 'SOS' came another top hit 'Mamma Mia.'
